Since the launch of the regulated online gambling market in the Netherlands in 2021, the sector has shown steady growth. According to the Dutch Gaming Authority (Kansspelautoriteit – KSA), the online gambling gross gaming result (GGR) reached €1.39 billion in 2023, up from €1.08 billion in 2022. Although growth slowed compared to the strong surge in 2022, every quarter of 2023 still recorded year-over-year increases.
